CSM Michael J. Runk
Command Sergeant Major Michael J. Runk is a native of Cross Plains, Wisconsin. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1997 and graduated from Basic Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He completed Advanced Individual Training as a Signal Support Systems Specialist (25U) at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
CSM Runk’s previous assignments include Communications Chief, C Company, 82nd Forward Support Battalion, Fort Liberty, NC; Radio Section Chief, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment; Ranger Rifle Company Communications Chief, C Company, 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA; Battalion Communications Chief, 6th Ranger Training Battalion, Eglin AFB, FL.
