ARCYBER Civilian Position Imperative Information

     

Cyber Excepted Service (CES) Position Eligibility Requires:

  ►

Direct applicable experience demonstrating the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. 

  ►

Qualifying experience that clearly demonstrates past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position, typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled in accordance with DoDD 8140.01 and DODI 1400.25 Volume 3005. paragraph 3.9.

A probationary period in accordance with DODI 1400.25 Volume 3005. paragraph 3.9.

 
 
 
     

Candidates claiming Veteran’s Preference must:

Upon application, submit a DD-214 (Member Copy 4), or, if you are CURRENTLY serving on active duty, a statement of service from your unit which states the date you entered on active duty, the date you are separating, and the campaign medals you have received. Submit a service-connected disability letter if applicable.

  ►

Cyber Excepted Service (CES) positions apply Veteran’s Preference to preference eligible candidates, as defined by Section 2108 of the Title 5 U.S.C. in accordance with the procedures provided in DOD Instruction 1400.25 Volume 3005. “CES Employment Placement.

Security Clearance Retention

National Security adjudication to evaluate the candidate’s ability to attain and maintain a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
